Serena ART

Serena Aseguradora de Riesgos del Trabajo S.A.U. is an Argentine occupational risk insurer. Serena ART identifies the current stage of an entity previously named Omint ART and Vesta ART. Its website brings together employer and worker services, preventive learning, medical providers and digital tools for administration and claims follow-up.

At a glance

Serena ART should be counted once, with its former names recorded as aliases. Serena Online supports employer administration and the worker application serves individual procedures. Learning resources, preventive materials and the provider directory complement occupational risk cover.

Current name and institutional continuity

The SRT directory lists Serena under its current legal name. SSN information and the corporate notice connect it with the Omint ART and Vesta ART names. In September 2025, the company publicly presented its new brand and relationship with Grupo Lapachos. Commercial language about this evolution should not itself be treated as evidence that three independent insurers merged.

Serena Online and certificates

The portal presents Serena Online as an administrative channel for employers and intermediaries. An announced function allows employment registration records to be uploaded and certificates with updated employee lists to be downloaded. Accuracy depends on the information entered and applicable cover. Certificates support dealings with third parties but do not themselves establish safe workplace conditions.

The worker application

The dedicated page describes claim status and follow-up, medical appointments and transport, geolocated pharmacies, discharge and medical reports, and payment and reimbursement information. It also provides access to courses. These functions connect medical and administrative information while retaining different effects: viewing a procedure’s status is not equivalent to a medical determination or benefit entitlement.

Learning and preventive resources

The learning platform connects registration to the worker’s employer to provide relevant training access. The website also publishes forms, visual materials, regulatory resources and a medical directory. These tools support daily administration and worker information. Employers need to relate courses to actual risks and maintain accurate records; platform use does not replace implementing corrective action.

Insurance and preventive responsibility

Affiliation to an ART arranges the cover provided under Law 24,557; it does not transfer day-to-day workplace management to the insurer. Employers retain their duties to assess and control risks, inform and train workers and comply with occupational health and safety requirements. Benefits relate to work-related contingencies covered by the scheme, subject to the applicable determination and review procedures.

Frequently asked questions

Should Omint ART, Vesta ART and Serena ART be counted separately?

No. The names relate to the continuity of the same entity. They should remain historical references, with the legal name checked on the document being consulted.

Does rebranding itself change the scope of cover?

That cannot be inferred. Cover depends on the legal scheme and contractual documents; a new name does not demonstrate universal additional benefits.
