Work Permits: working at height, in confined spaces, and hot work
Quick response · Compliance
Manage high-risk work permits with checklists, pre-controls, and traceability.
Essential steps
- Create the permit with New permit and complete the job details, responsible parties, equipment and personnel.
- Complete the pre-control checklist with structured answers (Yes / No / Not applicable) and record observations.
- In confined spaces, record the gas tests per shift (O₂, combustible gas/LEL, CO, CO₂), comparing the result with the acceptance criteria (VLP) shown by the system.
- Process the permit approval; in hot work, an approved permit is completely blocked to preserve traceability.
- Attach evidence (documents, photographs, signatures) and, when applicable, generate the consolidated report (e.g., Hot Work Report).
