Absenteeism: recording and investigation (DELT@, FURAT, RUAT)

Essential steps

1. Record the event from the corresponding card (e.g., Workplace Accidents ), completing the worker and incident details. For Spain, fill in the fields from the DELT@ report.
2. Add the associated periods of incapacity for work (start/end dates, type, observations); they directly feed into the absenteeism indicators.
3. Conduct the investigation in the corresponding tab, applying a methodology (Cause Tree or 5M) and recording events and causes.
4. Generate the action plan with preventive/corrective measures linked to the event, with responsible party and date; these are consolidated in the Comprehensive Measures Plan.
5. Record the lesson learned and attach supporting documentation.
6. Review the statistics (INSST incidence, frequency and severity indices; GTC-45) for follow-up.
