How to create a risk assessment

The essentials to get started with your first risk assessment in Sabentis. If you need the complete guide, you’ll find the link at the end.

⏱ 6 min🎯 For occupational health and safety technicians

Essential steps

  1. Go to Risk Assessment and click New Assessment.
  2. Create the study with name, scope (centers / positions), dates and methodology (INSST, FINE, NTP-330, GTC-45, IPERC).
  3. Identify the risks for each position. For each one, assign probability and severity.
  4. Define the measures following the hierarchy: elimination → substitution → engineering controls → administrative controls → PPE.
  5. Assign a responsible party and a deadline to each measure.
  6. Notify the worker of risks from the Worker Portal with a digital signature.
💡 Quick tipStart with a single pilot center with a representative position. Replicating it later is trivial; redoing it due to initial errors is not.
