How to manage users and roles
At Sabentis, a user is anyone who accesses the platform with their own credentials. Roles determine what each user can see and do within the system. Properly configuring users and roles from the outset prevents unauthorized access and ensures that each person only works on their assigned tasks.
How to access user management
Access from the Sabentis side menu → Settings > Users. Direct URL /fuse/home/configuration/users:
Key concepts before starting
Sabentis distinguishes two things that are important not to confuse:
System user
Person with access to the platform (login credentials, assigned role). Managed from Settings > Users.
Worker
A person registered in the company’s organizational structure (employment details, position, location). They may or may not have an associated system user account, depending on their role, without the need to create separate accounts.
When the user logs in, the platform displays the information and actions available according to the assigned roles.
Examples of typical profiles
System administrator
Full access to settings and all modules.
HSE Technician
Operational access to preventive modules.
Supervisor
Access to inspections, observations, and actions in your area.
Center Manager
Visibility limited to your workplace.
Employee / Employee Portal
Access only to your personal information.
How to limit access by workplace
If you need a user to only see information from certain centers—for example, an external occupational health and safety technician who only manages certain branches—you can restrict their access by center from their profile settings.
